Bold, Lively European & Asian-Inspired Cuisine
in a 1773 Tavern House

Husband and wife team, Chef Jim and Heidi Peyton, welcome you to their 40-seat, country casual, fine dining restaurant located in the historic Mann Tavern, the second oldest home in Orford, New Hampshire — just across the river from Lake Morey in Fairlee, Vermont.

Supporters of local farmers since 1993, Chef Jim Peyton handcrafts his dinner menu from organic meats and seasonal locally grown vegetables, complemented by a carefully selected wine list and full bar.

Peyton Place Restaurant offers private parties and catering for up to fifty guests, hands-on cooking classes, menu items to-go, and seasonal patio and air conditioned dining.

An easy drive from Lyme, New Hampshire, Hanover, New Hampshire, and Norwich, Vermont, as well as, Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, the restaurant serves as a fine dining destination for Upper Valley residents and visitors.
